Here, the food isn’t just prepared; it’s crafted with love, steering clear of mass-produced, pre-packaged meals.

The horchata, a creamy rice milk drink blended with vanilla and cinnamon, is a perfect counterpoint to the robust flavors of the food. It’s a small place, but the food is simply spectacular. I’ve read many negative reviews about the long waiting times, and while it’s true, I can’t ignore the fact that the food is fresh and not from a commercial chain where the meals are pre-packaged and simply handed to the customer. If you’re looking for fresh, delicious food that truly tastes like Mexico... you’ll need to wait a little, but it’s clearly worth it. I highly recommend Fiesta Market

Amazing Mexican , latin American restaurant & market. I got to know the place from a Mexican friend of ours as I was asking what’s “close to original”Mexican plan in Calgary. Food is delicious, we ordered tacos , enchiladas, fried tortillas , etc.. You can buy frozen packaged as well .. Resturant is also a small market place for authentic spices , meat , frozen tacos , etc. Must try for a delicious visit to South America right in Calgary !

This place is an absolute gem! They are running a great kitchen/restaurant and a pretty unique Mexican store in the back with almost anything Mexican you can imagine, spices, sauces, fresh and frozen tortillas, snacks and drinks, you name it! The atmosphere is very pleasant upon entering, and the music is totally nostalgic and adds quiet the Mexican flare. We had to wait in line for a minute or two while a couple of people were checking out some food they got from the back but that wasn't an inconvenience. We ordered two of the 3 fish taco combo' with refried beans and rice and the food was excellent. The tacos were juicy and very well seasoned. We also ordered Pico De Gallo and chips to share and this absolutely blew us away. The chips were really crunchy and tasted great plain but once they were dipped in the Pico De Gallo they were next level. It was so fresh and the taste was a mix of sour and sweet and a little bit of fresh spicy and just overall a great starter. Would totally recommend. We took half of it home because we didn't want to be full before we got our main meal. We checked out the back store portion and we were super intrigued by all the cool things we saw, most of which was not sold in any of the stores here in Calgary so this is a must visit for authentic Mexican snacks, meats, breads, spices and sauces. I recommend everyone come here and try their food and to check out their store. I was very happy to experience it so I will definitely be back in the future!

I have been wanting to go here for a long time and just kept passing it by. Until today and they did not disappoint. Let me just say I am an Irish Canadian with no capacity for spicy. I also was raised on faux Mexican food - let’s be honest Taco Time, you’re delish but not actually authentic. The reality is I had little clue how to order authentic because I just knew so little. So ... I asked Sergio who was the person who stepped up to help me. He asked questions, made suggestions. Taught me the difference between a taco shell and a sope (I am now a sope convert). He suggested a variety of filling options to go with my “please God I can’t handle the least bit of hot spice”. And it all came together in three incredible, indescribably delicious sopes - a pastor (best seller), carnitas and picadillo. Add a horchata and winner winner. And I’m astounded how 3 relatively small items are so filling. The food is wonderful, the service so accommodating and the atmosphere is eclectic with a market vibe. Try it. You won’t be disappointed. (And ya. I was so busy eating I didn’t take pics. Next time.)

Literally the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. Would rate 10 stars if I could!!! Staff were wonderful and went way above and beyond for us. If we were local we would probably be here weekly. Instead we will absolutely be making this our regular spot to come to whenever we are in Calgary!

Fiesta is a standout Mexican restaurant in Calgary that truly impressed me. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, setting the stage for a fantastic dining experience. The empanadas were a highlight—perfectly crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling that left me wanting more. And the guacamole? Absolutely delicious, clearly made with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. But it wasn't just those dishes; everything we tried was top-notch. Each dish was expertly prepared and full of authentic Mexican flavours. The service was also excellent, with friendly staff who were happy to help us navigate the menu. Overall, Fiesta offers an exceptional dining experience that's hard to beat. If you're looking for the best Mexican food in Calgary, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Delicious birria tacos, it was about 18 per order (with cheese) and was steaming hot. We also got the elote for 10 (?) and the person at the counter said they ran out of something so they will substitute it for something else... it was okay. Service was friendly, food took a bit but understandably so. Will try more soon!
